Car crashes can be very harmful. Sadly, such motor vehicle accidents can sometimes even result in an individual’s death. This is one of the many reasons why it is very important for motorists to drive responsibly when out on the roads. Recently, a fatal car accident happened in Oregon. The crash occurred on Monday. Reportedly, that afternoon, a 76-year-old woman was driving a car along Tillstrom Road near Damascus, Oregon. Allegedly, a pickup truck which was in the opposing lane of this road then crossed the road’s center line and hit the 76-year-old woman’s car head-on. The pickup truck was being driven by a 51-year-old man. According to the article on OregonLive.com which reported this story, this motor vehicle accident is still in the process of being investigated. The 76-year-old woman died as a result of this motor vehicle collision. The accident also reportedly resulted in the 51-year-old man suffering injuries. He was transported to an area hospital after the crash and has since been released. As this tragic crash shows, car accidents can sometimes have fatal results. Consequently, it is very important for motorists in Oregon to take all reasonable steps to prevent car crashes. This includes making sure to not engage in reckless conduct when out on the roads. It also includes doing everything one reasonably can to avoid interfering with opposing lanes of traffic when driving. One hopes that all motor vehicle drivers in Oregon will do what they can to help keep the state’s roads safe.
